Courage

 Stepping into my promise land

Staying attached to God’s plan

 Confronting my fears, trembling within

Moving forward with faith as my friend

Fighting to hold on in the face of defeat

Growing stronger  when I feel weak

Glowing in darkness that comes my way

My spirit is revived each and every day

***

Standing when trouble tells me to sit down

Wearing a smile instead of a frown

***

 Hopeful about tomorrow in front of me

Moving toward what my future shall be
