Courage

 Stepping into my promise land

Staying attached to God’s plan

***

 Confronting my fears, trembling within

Moving forward with faith as my friend

***

Fighting to hold on in the face of defeat

Growing stronger  when I feel weak

***

Glowing in darkness that comes my way

My spirit is revived each and every day

***

Standing when trouble tells me to sit down

Wearing a smile instead of a frown

***

 Hopeful about tomorrow in front of me

Moving toward what my future shall be

The Light

 John 8:12

  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 
“I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness,
but will have the light of life”.

 

The Light

A brilliant light came to earth one day

Here for a blest moment, but couldn’t stay

***

Left heaven’s throne to heal the land

Carried the burden’s for every man

***

Covered with blood and dressed in thorns

All heaven and earth began to mourn

***

Radiant beams stretched long and wide

The brightness faded, washed out and died

***

Wrapped in death, the light passed away

Buried in the grave for three silent days

***

Loosed from death’s claws, a day so grand

The light was crucified, but rose again

***

Now the precious light shines brighter than before

The light of the world lives forever more

For with thee is the fountain of life:

in thy light shall we see light.

 

A Spring

  A blest fountain crystal clear
Drawing me lovingly near

Precious water …  wash my soul
Heal my brokenness … make me whole

Amazing wonders my heart can see
A fountain of miracles flowing in me

As the deer pants for streams of water,
    so my soul pants for you, my God.

 

Desire

Longing for my Lord, King, and Priest

A burning desire that never cease

 ***

 Glory and Honor my heart and soul sing

Craving for a place that I’ve never seen

 ***

 Savoring each moment of our embrace

A taste of miraculous mercy and grace

What Does Your Life Speak Every day? 

Will God Be Proud Of What You Display?

What does your everyday witness say?  What is it about God that you display?       

What do your actions reveal each time?  How do you demonstrate God’s heart and mind?

What does your life put on view every day?   Are you representing God’s will and way?

What do your words reveal about God in you?   Can everyone see Him in all that you do?

Do you think of everyone as God’s wonderful design?  To all that you come in contact with are you loving and kind?   

What do your thoughts convey as you live?  How much thanksgiving to God do you give?  

What are your desires toward God the King?  What is the sacrifice that you bring?   

What is your lifelong plan and ambition?  Is God’s purpose for your life your work and mission?

How do you broadcast God’s good news to all you see?  How do you show the world that God gave you victory?

How can one tell if God is using you in a day?   Do you live your life in a prayerful way?

How do you tell God’s story through your life’s tour?  Does your life show you trust God more and more?

Can God count on you to tell of His faithfulness?  Each and every day do you give God your best?

How do you tell of God’s great love for you?  How does your life prove what God can do? 

What does your everyday witness say?  What is it about God that you display?
