Be Grateful For Life

Psalm 37:25    I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread

Many years are written upon my face; my life has traveled countless miles and space.    Many days my aged eyes have seen go by; I embrace tears of sorrow and joy that I have cried.        My mind welcomes a view of how things used to be, and I embrace thoughts of how life is so sweet.       Many joys and pains I have faced; most of them my memory can vividly trace.

Am I tired …  someone might say; the answer to this question is “faith.”       Faith has been my friend for many years;, and in my old age, it’s still here.  How wonderful it is to have God in my life time; this is a thought that dominates my mind.

I could have been wiped out from life’s troubles that have come my way, but somehow God saw fit for me to see a new day.

I’m here in this land and I’m so glad; I have no reason to be miserable or sad.     I have confidence in the Master above; He has shown me His mercy and great love.      I have come to a place in life that’s sweet with delight; now I’m old, but I still have God’s might.

Peace is inside my soul, sent from God above; I’m grateful I have had an opportunity to live and love.    My lips are not silent to tell of my gratefulness, and my mind is always thinking on God’s goodness.     I thank God for my trials and troubles that came by; and I thank  Him for the smiles and tears that fell from my eyes.

I thank Him for allowing me to be a part of His plan; all the days of my life, I’ll
praise God,

Amen   Amen.

A Battle for Victory!

Falling Apart: Not an Option

God Never Had A Problem That He Couldn’t Solve.   Photo Courtesy: Peter Griffin

Have you ever come face to face with a life storm?   They can be emotionally, physically, and mentally draining.   If you care to admit, life storms can force you to meet your faith in God head on.    A life storm can be the means for you finding out what you are really made of.

Truly, we can go over, under, and around life’s storms, but we don’t always bypass the storm’s powerful  interferance.   No matter what path you take to overcome a life storm, you will certainly wrestle with the difficulties attached to the storm.

Ready or not, life storms happen.   A small life storm  may come your way and you enforce a little fight.  Possibly you won’t even break a sweat, and you sail through the storm with ease.      On the other hand, you meet  with a large life storm and  implement maximum power.   Maybe you’ll lose some sleepless nights, but you make it through with a diligent fight.      Moreover, you meet with a life crisis, and you are faced with the fight of your life.  Perhaps you’ll need to refuel many times in order to make it to the other side of the storm.

In any case, you must put forth effort to withstand a life storm.

Sometimes things happen in life and it seems impossible to bear.   If the truth be told, once in a while you may feel like you’re going to break down and let the pieces fall where they may.   Sometimes it may seem that it would be easier to take a break from life and return when the coast is clear.   Although possible to attempt, that’s not a feasible solution.   Tried it, result: not successful.   I decided to sit it out and let the storm pass by.  The storm didn’t budge, and it waited  for my return.

The best option was to face the storm with confidence and fight to win.   Sometimes you can have all of the confidence that anyone could ever hope for; and at the same time, you still need more.   You must draw on your God given inner strength to make it through a life storm.   There are times in your life when you must tell yourself  how you expect to behave during a life storm.

Encourage Yourself  While In The Storm

Oh my soul, let me tell you this; falling apart is not on my list.     I know you’re weary and tired of going through, but I can’t win this battle without you.     Remember God gave you strength in the last fight; you were weak and He gave you might.      Oh my soul, now is not the time to give up and give in; you have hope and a future to win.      God knows the plans He has for you, this is true; hold on and experience what God can do.     God’s plans are to prosper you and not to bring you harm; you can make it through any storm.

Oh my soul, you have already traveled far from the past; don’t let this battle be your last.     I know you have many more tears to shed, but please be strong and look ahead.       Find a place somewhere inside of you, and see things from God’s point of view.      Oh my soul, you’re hurting with great pain today, but you must get in touch with God’s joyful way.       Falling apart is not an option that you can choose; if you accept giving up, you will lose.

Hold yourself firmly together my soul; delight yourself in what God has foretold.     Oh my soul, you are a champion with God as your guide; you can make it to the other side.    Oh my soul, let me tell you this; falling apart is not on my list.

Jeremiah 29:11 ~ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Destined To Do YOU

Nobody Can Do YOU Better Than YOU

Wear It Well

You Are The Only One That Can Live Your Life As God Intented For You To Do. Photo Courtesy: Petr Kratochvil

God made man and woman in His image and with assurance, He  announced, “it is good”.      We are complex beings with many intricate parts – God took time making you and me.      We are created by God’s own mind, heart, and hands, and our actual existence represents His power and glory.    I marvel at God’s handiwork.

Psalm 139:14   I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well

Valuable… YOU

No man or woman can take your destined place; no one can fill your God given space.   You are made with something specific to do, and all of it truely belongs to you.     What you have are valuable gifts  –  very grand; God has shaped you with greatness to serve in His plan.     Your life is precious …  this is something you should never forget; God has given you treasures that are heaven sent.

You are one of a wonderful kind, and made with a unique heart, soul and mind.      Nobody can be just like you are; you are God’s bright shining star.      You are unique in all of your ways, and God made you specifically to fit your days.      All of what your life is designed to do in the earth, is all of what God says that you are worth.      God made you with a definite plan, and He took time to sculpt you with His own hands.

God  thought about you and me in His imagination, and He was excited for us to be a part of His creation.      His love for us  is deeper than any ocean, sky or sea; only God could make a complex creature like you and me.

Who can be like you are exact?  Who in the world can follow your act?     Who can do this or that just like you can?  Who is like you in all  of  the land?      Who can live your life in your exact tone?   It’s you and you alone.      Who can express your life for you?     Who can perform this or that like you do?       Who can live  your days and walk your life to be? There ‘s no one else like you or me.       Who has  your character and your soul?   Who can live your life inside of your role?       Who can take your place in the earth’s sphere?  There is no one else that God put here.

Don’t consider not being good enough; God made you with some valuable stuff.          Don’t compare yourself to what others can do because God made you with priceless assets to.      Don’t hold your head down to think of yourself low because God gave you what you need to glow.       Don’t forget that you are wonderfully made, with precious riches of the finest grade.      Don’t look down on the gifts God gave you because they fit what your life is created to do.      You are made of  heavenly treasures with a special twist; God made you great, that’s why you exist.

Let God guide you into who you are in Him for your time, so that you can parade God’s awesome design.      You are required to reach what your life is designed to do because there’s no one else that can display God’s beauty in you.

You’re the only one that can do your life’s mission exact; You are the one God chose to do your life, that’s a fact.       You are a portrait that God hand painted to represent Him grand; Now show off God’s splendor in all the land.

Nobody can take your place!

You’re the only one that can fill your life’s space!

The Sound of Praise

My Heart Dances to the Tune of Praise!     Photo Courtesy: Marco Laython

Life can keep us busy and sometimes there isn’t enough time in a day to complete every desired task.    However, Ecclesiastes 3 There is a time for everythingand a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die,  a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal,  a time to tear down and a time to build.   Surely, there is always a time to give GOD PRAISE  for the great things that He has done.    God has blest us through life’s joys and pains.   He has caused us to have sunshine in the midst of rain.    Truely, God deserves an enormous applause.    In each  day, find a way to give God praise.   Deuteronomy 32:3, I will proclaim the name of the LORD.  Oh, praise the greatness of our God!

Dear God,

It’s me again Lord, thanking you for being my dear friend; thank you for always having time to listen.     I want to tell you how I feel; I am going to be honest and real.    I don’t take my life for granted and I’m appreciative today; from my heart to yours,  I send great praise your way.

For as long as I can remember you have taken care of me; as I look back over my life you have given me sight when I couldn’t see.      I remember times when I couldn’t find my way; and there you were to rescue me out of my dismay.      My heart is grateful for all that you have done; there were times when I should have failed, but I won.     There were times when you  blest me even before I asked of you; my Lord, I am  thankful for the things that you do.      I recall not having enough  strength to continue on my way; and out of nowhere you gave me strength to maintain.       I have surely cried a river of tears; and you were there every step of the way to calm my fears.     You caused people to bless me just because I am your child; when I think about your goodness, it makes my soul smile.       You have surrounded me with loving friends and family; you are really good to me.

 My heart is full of joyful laughter and tears;
as I bear in mind my life’s years.

It could have been me, without a place to call home; It could have been me living isolated and alone.       It could have been me without shoes and clothes to wear; It could have been me hopeless and in despair.     It could have been me in a sickbay; It could have been me with no desire to pray.      It could have been me letting negative talk pull me down; It could have been me mostly wearing a frown.      It could have been me burying my dreams inside of my fears and doubts; It could have been me stuck in a bad situation without a way out.

It could have been me not recovering from a dreadful life storm; It could have been me not having the opportunity to be born.      It could have been me not willing to get up after a terrible life fall; It could have been me not hearing encouragement’s call.     It could have been me fixed to living life carelessly about; It could have been me in bondage not knowing how to get out.       It could have been me not cherishing who I am in God’s plan; It could have been me not having the courage to stand.

It could have been me too afraid to try once more; It could have been me not embracing a desire to soar.     It could have been me not having the endurance to survive; It could have been me drowning in tears that fell from my eyes.     It could have been me living as if my life has no usefulness; It could have been me not realizing  my life is blest.       It could have been me not able to enjoy life’s simple pleasures; It could have been me not realizing I am one of God’s treasures.      It could have been me in a confused mind all day long; It could have been me living weak and not strong.

Lord you have shown great mercy toward me all of my life’s days, and  I am here with pleasure giving you mighty honor and praise.

Dream Harvest

Grow Into Your Future

Dream Until Your Dreams Find You! Photo Courtesy: David Wagner

When God gives you a dream, a vision, or a word of encouragement, it is surely true and meant for you.    Work and wait patiently on the manifestation of your dreams.  It is within your reach to arrive at the destination that God has planned for your life.   James 5:7  [ Patience in Suffering ]   Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming.  See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.   God planted  dreams inside your heart; just as the farmer  has to wait for his harvest to appear,  you too must wait for God to unfold your dreams and bring forth your harvest.

Work and Wait!  God isn’t asking you to do something that you don’t have the power to do.  When God decided to create the heavens, earth, and mankind,  surely He had the vision complete in His mind; even so, God worked and waited for the outward show of beauty that danced in His thoughts.

God was the first to demonstrate the power of working and waiting.  Now here we are, His creation, taking pleasure in the work that God has done.   If God didn’t have the patience to work and wait, where would we be?

Work while you wait on the things that God has promised you.   Every dream that God has planted shall grow,  if you are willing to let God nurture you into full bloom.  There is a harvest season for the labor that you endure.   Isaiah 40:31  but those who hope in the LORD  will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles;  they will run and not grow weary,  they will walk and not be faint.

Growing pangs shall occur and it’s natural.    Growing and developing go through a process to arrive at maturity.    The familiar place that you have become comfortable with will stretch, and compel you to expand beyond the space you are accustom to.   Sometimes that hurts!

Don’t let growth pains discourage you from accomplishing your dreams and visions.  When God gives you a dream, vision, or something to do, surely it will require you to journey beyond the surroundings of your usual space.     If you go with God where He wants to take your life, you will outgrow the space that you have become content with.   God is enormous.  Traveling with God will take you on a life tour that you cannot imagine possible.

Be excited to become familiar with new territory in God.

I feel a precious move of  God so strong; a grand shift that shall take place before long.    I feel it over here and I see over there; the presence of the Lord is  everywhere.      Coming to dress me in His finest costume; adorned to wear my royal air looms.      Receiving my inheritance in the earth; all of my labor shall soon bring forth birth.   My dream seeds are growing robust and tall; the harvest is coming, I hear the call.

Come and release my children today; give them what they ask and pray.    Bless them in their hearts and  minds; glory be to God in this grandiose time.   Upon the table is a feast that’s so great; the doors are wide open standing at the gate.    All of my dreams and my visions to be; are waiting to serve what is promised to me.    The table,  I tell you is a big spread; all of what my father has written and said.
My eyes open wide with such a surprise because my Lord is strong, wealthy, and wise.    I feel a soft hand upon my face; I feel the Lord surrounding my space.    I feel His presence so fresh and new; oh Lord, oh Lord what are you going to do?     I know you are up to something so great; I know that I shall see it,  oh how I can’t wait.     I know that you are going to move very soon; I know it,  I know it,  I know it this noon.    Lord, I feel your massage in my soul so calm; pulling me away from life’s  distractions and storms.   You are leading me into the newest me in you; oh Lord, oh Lord,  I’m open to your move.
No matter how heavy or long you must carry your dream load and no matter how unfair life may seem, Keep your eyes on the goal while traveling toward your dreams

You’re Not Alone

God Will Take Your Place, Just Give Him Space

When problems rush in like a flood and things don’t go exactly the way you’ve planned,  “Plan to trust God”.     God’s  heart is big enough to love you through the storm.  His hands are large enough to carry you throughout the storm; and  He’s wise enough to solve any problem that you have.    Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1 NIV

There is someone who will take my place, at times when my life is difficult to face.    The Lord shows up and lifts me ever so high; He absorbs the tears from my weeping eyes.   When I’m feeling sad, lonely, and misplaced; He soaks in my misery and unleashes joyful space.

When God Comes Into My Space And Announces That I Am Free, My Troubles Bow To His Voice And They Must Flee !    Hallelujah !           Photo Courtesy: Petr Kratochvil

I wonder what God does with all of my pain…  because I know He feels every one of my strains.      I wonder how He can handle it all …  How He doesn’t stumble, crumble or fall.      When I don’t know what to say, think or do, He bears my burdens,  showing His concern for me is true.

He prevails over the darkness that covers me, standing before my troubles to make me free.     I’m rescued and the timing is always right, my Lord fills in for me and gives me His might.      He has all of the answers to the questions I raise, and He knows all about my past, present, and future days.     The Lord takes my place so that I might endure; He’s my proxy in times that I can’t take any more.

The Lord has taken my place at a priceless cost: I remember he died so that I might not be lost.      I’m more than fortunate to have a God so strong and wise, who takes care of my every need no matter the size.       There is someone who will take my place, at times when my life is difficult to face.
